Re: Drone policy
So I'm talking about the wrong problem or there's no problem or what? There are certainly problems, all of which stem from engaging in ill conceived military action in the first place. I'm also a little confused by your notion of "civilised" warfare. It sounds so rare and hypothetical. Ju...

I never quiet understood the immoral phrase "minimal innocent casualities". What does that mean anyway?? Pure BS, of course. Part of warfare is to cause maximum civilian casualties in an effort to have them revolt and change governments. Call it "Shock & Awe" or whatever, wa...

Re: Gloom, Doom, and Boom. Preparing for societal collapse
Oh, honestly. You yanks do carry on in the most melodramatic style. When / if you go broke, consider that you aren't the first great power to do so, nor will you be the last. There will be some initial chaos and violence. You will endure a decade or two of Argentina after the fall, you will suffer, ...

Re: The Next Four Years
So savers and investors get screwed and everyone with maxed out credit cards and unaffordable mortgages get a free ride? What a great idea. Hey, I don't suppose you'd lend me a tenner? On second thoughts, make it a twenty. You surely can look beyond that, can't you? Savers are mostly small savers. ...

Re: Europe
Doesn't seem remotely right. Surely there must have been at least 1 limey in Luxembourg and the Vatican during WW2... And Burundi (aka Deutsch-Ostafrika) during WW1? Yes, I'm going to agree on Vatican City. Only created as a state in 1929, some Commonwealth troops must have made it there during the...

Re: Computing: Software and Hardware
Samsung / ASUS rule the roost, but for bang for buck, I can recommend looking at the Toshiba AT 300 (I think it's called the excite in the US) +: It's reasonably priced. It's got a decent screen, speakers and battery life. It's got a Tegra 3 quad core + one watchdog core processor, so it copes well...

This is what you said: Hans , Iranians do not differentiate based on religion .. Sunni, Shia, Zoroastrian, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish or Christians That is essence of Cyrus Iranians differentiate based on good or evil humans And it's obviously nonsense. See above for details. You then said: Iranian are...

By all means carry on with the hysterics and self-satire - I'll let the facts speak for themselves.

More nonsense - and Bingo ! You're really not fooling anyone. As long as the corporations use the protections that states provide, this is possible. Argentina should use the prerogative that states retain, ie use force to free the ship. Maybe arrest/ assassinate the corporate CEOs. Treat the vulture capital types as a hostile force or a terrorist organization...

Ehh. They are free people living in a free land, and are entitled to their say but just read the polls:

And consider the chain of fantasies and sullen remarks linked by 'ifs' in that light.
