Thanks Typhoon, stealing from the Cos, that was like a chiropractic adjustment for the brain. All clear no.

As a friend who is well versed in foreign affairs once noted "It is a convoluted free-for-all!"

I figured it out: the world has about 2 billion people too many and the great (and smaller) powers have found out a way to solve that problem...

I hope they decide to preserve a smallish bankrupt country with some very good beaches and nice food...

It seems a possibility.

If that is so, one has to remember that such countries as Argentina won big during WWI by a) staying the darn out of it b) trading heavily with all parties

Who is going to be the Argentina of those wars?

The bad news is that radioactive allout & similar respects winds, time and shielding, not national borders.

The good news for you personally is that Brazil which speaks Portuguese is in the Southern Hemisphere.

The bad news is that we Depraved Sinful Egotistical Chaos Monkeys are so nutty that Brazil might eventually turn into Brazil ;)

Full of Brazil Nuts.......... ;)

Or worse.........
For the love of G_d, consider you & I may be mistaken.

Nevertheless Argentina has gone through Hell or at least Purgatory since then........

Big Dogs like Juan Perron ;) oops I mean Juan Peron & very nasty revolutionaries and secret police..........

Still it beats near mid 20th Century Europe or some places like Cambodia, China and North Korea since..........

Also beats being radioactive...........
