Khazar Turkic Empire (Jewish), 618?–1048?

Post by HAL 10000 »

This thread is about the history of the Khazar Turkic Empire that was established in Asia around 618. The ruling class of the Khazar Turks actually converted to Judaism, and this made Judaism the state religion, although there were many Christians, Pagans, and Muslims who coexisted successfully in the Empire. The Khazar Empire become a very successful capitalist environment because they hired a lot of Greek architects, engineers, as well as scholars from both other groups. Women in the Khazar Empire were treated very well, and in some cases the Khazar Turkic army was commanded by women. Khazars were first attacked and looted by the Mongols, and later on the Rus (who were the precursors to Russians) dismantled them by 1048. The Khazars were scattered all over Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East, America, and EU.

There are approximately 88,0000 remaining Jewish Khazar Turks who still speak some Turkish, as you will see in this documentary. The Khazars are neither Sephardic nor Ashkenazic, they are Turkic.

(This documentary was made for the Turkish television, but at time 0.55 they show a Karay Turkic Rabbi in Lithuania, in a traditional Turkic synagogue, and he explains in an ancient Turkic dialect that his ancestors moved to Lithuania from Crimea, and they are of Karai Turkic background. originally from the Khazar Empire. In this video, a lot of Khazars in Europe, including Russia, Poland, Turkey, Lithuania, are speaking ancient Turkic dialects. Their Turkic vocabulary is so pure that I can understand with difficulty because the modern Turkish that I learned in Istanbul is contains many French ,Arabic, and Persian words which are not used by the Khazar Turks.)

When I visited Lithuania I saw their synagogue and buildings, but I did not speak to them because I did not realize that they really know Turkish.

The name HAL is derived from "Heuristically Programmed ALgorithmic Computer." HAL 10000 is the new generation computer destined to become the successor to HAL 9000, as suggested in Arthur C. Clarke's book.

.

(As Azarbaijani) I speak Turkish (too) .. watched the video

Yes, Khazar were Turkic stock .. and adapted Judaism

many Jews are Khazar, not 88K as you say, but probably up to a million or more

The other "converts" are mostly Ukrainian (Natnyahu) and Russian

The real Jews, the "pure" Hebrew tribe, mostly Persian Jews

Judaism (religion) we know today took shape in Persia when Hebrew tribe moved to Iran .. there was a time, at least half of Persian population was Jewish .. the real cultural centre of Judaism is Persia and not Israel
