ASMR

Post by Nonc Hilaire »

A new sensory reaction? Mass delusion? Related to autism? Bob Ross, FCOL?

It requires headphones and a quiet environment to properly experience, so I can't even answer my own poll yet. It's Monday morning in the Florida suburbs and the hills are alive with the sound of lawnmowers and leaf blowers. But i'm definitely checking this out later.

Best to listen to the videos with headphones in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere before reading the article, because the article describes what you may experience. ASMR is described as a pleasant reaction to certain quiet, whispering sounds so no worries. A powerful YouTube trend, but how real is it?
