Since many of the discussions here are already liberally infused with historical references, and I'm not enough of a historian to contribute to a History forum, I voted for bacon, but don't have any objection to a History forum. You really can't go wrong with bacon, though.

History in terms of what? In terms of whose perspective? Too abstract, too meaningless until put into some frame of reference or purpose both of which are currently supplied by current forums.

Bacon it is . . . :)

History is a subset of the Reality section as per the byline:

"Reality.

Past and present. You can't make this stuff up."

Where would or should we post bacon related stories?

Should Canadian Bacon be a separate thread or would it also be included in a similar thread?

"Reality" seems a little stringent and demanding for what some of us want to call "History".

And what of "Current Events" then? Seems a subtle shade from "(Present) Reality", at least from a search engine POV.

Listen, if you want to talk about honey glazed ham... okay, you can have a new thread. But Canadian bacon goes into the Canada thread.
