Trump will adjust.
Or Cruz is simply a slime ball and his methods reflect it.

Sounds like Trump's campaign strategy requires a major revision:

Politico | How Trump let himself get out-organized
For months, Donald Trump’s allies urged him to invest in the technology necessary to identify and mobilize his supporters, sources close to Trump’s campaign told POLITICO, but the billionaire barely budged, apparently believing his star power would provide a new way to mobilize voters.

By the time his campaign began investing in voter data and targeting analytics, his rivals for the GOP nomination — particularly Iowa winner Ted Cruz and third-place finisher Marco Rubio — had spent millions building sophisticated voter-targeting machines.
So NH is next.
Still, the advantages of the superior data operations of Cruz and Rubio will be tested in next week’s New Hampshire primary. Polls taken before Iowa showed Trump with a commanding 20-point lead. And the state’s primary rules, which allow independents to participate, can be a major wild card, as is the turnout, which is far greater than for Iowa’s caucuses ― a potential advantage for Trump — but also a source of volatility.
Remains to be seen whether the populist school of campaigning still works.

Look to me, Trump (pretty much) f*cked .. Crus and Rubio not much better.

Sanders would do well, but, Evangelicals would not vote for a Jewish president

That leaves us, like it or not, with "Madame La Presidente" Hillary

Lots of entertainment to come, HP. The first serious primary is March 1. IA, NH, SC, and NV are just sparring.

And "First Stallion" William J. Clinton?
If that comes to pass, I hope the US president can at least discipline her husband. I mean: get him to keep his pants on

Now count me altogether unconvinced that the election would be in any way rolled up now, for Clinton as well as for any other:
- Can't see why Trump would be finished
- Cruz is not in such a good position as his score in Iowa suggests: this was his home turf, a land of Evangelicals, now will come the hard part for him. Yet he remains second in polls, plus David Goldman is all for him
- Rubio is third, but also the best Establishment candidate in the GOP, full support from resigning candidates may give him a boost
- Sanders remains just a challenger for Clinton, however the popular dynamic behind him is impressive - 3.5 millions individuals contributed money to his campaign - and his being Jewish is not an issue to Evangelicals... what they are worried is him being a Democrat, which is reason enough to vote against him anyway
- Bloomberg would be candidate only if the Ultimate Establishment Catastrophe did materialize, that is Trump and Sanders nominated, however he might stand a real chance as a third party candidate with the motto "I'm neither Hitler nor Staline"

Trump runs on Muslim this, Mexican that .. now, Obama talking in a "Mosque" :
The US president, who had taken off his shoes as Muslims do to respect the place of worship, said he was “grateful” for the efforts that the Muslim community has made “to keep us as one American family.”
Wind taken out of Trump sail

Crus & Rubio beatin Neocon drum .. Americans tired of that, they don't care anymore about Libya or Syria, no wars anymore.

Bloomberg suspiciously silent .. A "Vice president" Bloomberg for Hillary would assure solid backing by Wall Street and Mosche .. Sanders can "huff & puff" as much he wants, but, push comet to shove, Money talks.

Could be in pipeline.

Well, who are you considering?

So far, you've claimed every candidate near the top of the polls.

I may be fuzzy with my maths but, when you go in to vote you can only choose one.

Which one is it for you?

Or is this a case of "multiple candidates for me but not for thee"?
Err no I clearly gave you multiple choices. Why is this so hard for you.

I did not realize you were allowed to vote multiple times.

I thought "vote early and vote often" was a Democratic thing. Guess not.

No, I did not say a person could "vote multiple times" I said very specifically who could you vote for, allowing obviously that you may consider some and not others.

And I asked you first. Simple manners is that you should answer the question before you get to ask one, even though it is totally unnecessary because I scream my opinions and preferences at anyone who will listen at any time and you already know what I'll say.

But you go first then I'll go.

You're pussyfooting. :) We know you love multiple candidates- we get that- you're Mr. Republican Party and would be happy with several of them.

Mr.Authoritarian? Not a chance. Every election Bloomberg has leaned into (cross-country, like his money in the gun issue) has seen him trounced with the exception of New York City. And New York City only elected him because of 9-11. Mark Greene would've been mayor post-Giuliani if not for that incident; and Bloomberg suddenly became the security-first/I'll continue the Giuliani administration guy. Really, NYC was just looking for a third Giuliani term- a keep us safe mayor- after that point. That they re-elected him has more to do with insider machinations than popularity. That he changed the rules to be mayor a third time, left him even more unpopular. Let's not forget that the grossest offenses of the 'Giuliani' tough on crime policy occurred under Bloomberg, who rather ham-handedly institutionalized things that were meant as tools and not incentives. The best example being turning the controversial "stop and frisk" program from an intentional tool to target and isolate gangs to something which became rote and tied into police union bonuses and promotions. By the end of his administration, it really did become harassment for being black.

I'm open to anyone not named Bush, Clinton or Rubio. I've said this. I still have time before the primaries roll over to CT. Our vote doesn't really matter, and at the pace our durian governor is destroying the state, we will be even less significant.

He is a sometimes solo practice lawyer whose principal skill seems to be politicking in the Florida and not actually practicing law. At this point, we cannot say he's done anything in his life which hasn't revolved around politics (since he was 26 years old). He's been in Congress a short period of time, got embarrassed by Senator Schumer, and tried to cover his humiliation by assiduous lying.

And it's not the first time he's resorted to lying- remember when he first came to national prominence and couldn't give a straight answer of where he actually went to church?

His personal life is a whole other matter. He's indebted to Floridian patrons. His past financial problems do not speak well of him. His connections to the Miami cocaine wave of the 80s is troubling [his brother in law, and he claims he had no idea], as is his arrest in a Florida park known as a "gay cruising spot" with a man who he later lived with. And of course that man made a living on selling homosexual pornography. I'm sure there's all sorts of secrets just waiting to jump out from Mr.Rubio's closet.

That he is of an ethnicity that gets grouped into the "Hispanic" category has Republican professionals panting...well, that certainly exposes a rather malignant party issue.

Overall, the precedent set by President Obama has encouraged candidacies like Senator Rubio which are wholly inappropriate.

Senator Cruz's candidacy is also an absolutely foolish endeavor. But he lucks out with a whole different set of baggage. It is a wonder though that for as smart and serious as he is claimed to be, he does not dedicate more of his time to dealing with Senator McConnell.

Or are you just stringing sentences together like you're throwing presidental candidates out there?

I had understood that your prefered GOP candidate was Trump.

But then in recent posts you seemed to be just as content if Cruz or Rubio was the nominee. So I became a bit confused.

Did I misundertand and are you not in fact a Trump partisan?
