The American people want perp walks NOW! Trump has been President for over a year and has not shown any desire to take action. Trump even has no interest in Las Vegas or the train derailment that nearly dumped the GOP house majority into a garbage truck.

My personal theory is still that the silent military coup was successful and Trump was reduced to being a puppet of the Pentagon. Expect lots of moral posturing by Trump but no arrests.
I think you are completely underestimating him.

1.5 years, zero evidence. Can't even find probable cause after memo. This thing is done.

Not done B4 the fat lady sings

Mueller must come out empty hand, and close file .. Mueller conspicuously silent

Things can take dramatic direction .. looks like Trump knows something and wants to discredit it .. apparently Mueller can not indict Trump but if Mueller comes out with condemning evidence, congress/Senate must act .. looks like Trump wants to discredit Mueller's findings so that congress would not act upon .. all depends on Mueller findings now.

nope.

this russian stuff is a smokescreen, the democrats dont have their heart in it, the previous decades before trump it was a republican hammer to hit them with and now they have got excited their is a republican who took as many bribes as they do from the russians.

complete non issue - i can find many rants from democrats on how stupid pre trump republicans are for maintaining cold war attitudes to modern russia.

they dont believe in it, they just think they can stir up the anti russian republican base , yawn.

I hope so, but nah. There is more than enough evidence to arrest the bunch, but we will just get more congressional inquiries instead of prosecutions.

The election proved there is no difference between GOP and Dems, and now Trump has been demoted from President to Master of Ceremonies.

Signs point to Mueller closing on Trump, probably causing impeachment of Trump

That's why Trump, republicans, brought this "Nunes FBI memo" rubbish, to manufacture public consent, to FIRE Mueller.

If Trump/Republicans would have thought Mueller has nothing, they would let Mueller run it's course.

Firing Mueller validates all alleged.

Republican lawmakers distance themselves from Trump on memo

Speaking Sunday on ABC News, Schiff called the GOP memo a “political hit job on the FBI in service of the president.”

“The goal here really isn’t to find out the answers from the FBI. The goal here is to undermine the FBI, discredit the FBI, discredit the [special counsel] investigation, do the president’s bidding,” Schiff told This Week.

..

Calling on Trump not to interfere in Mueller’s investigation, four Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee dismissed on Sunday the idea that the memo’s criticism of how the FBI handled certain surveillance applications undermines the special counsel’s work. Reps. Trey Gowdy (S.C.), Chris Stewart (Utah), Will Hurd (Texas) and Brad Wenstrup (Ohio) represented the committee on the morning political talk shows.

Gowdy, who helped draft the memo, said Trump should not fire Rosenstein and rejected the idea that the document has a bearing on the investigation.

So the 48 hour tally:

- Mark Zuckerburg and friends put on a Kabuki show. 83% of the people questioning him have him as their biggest donors. No one finds it necessary to place him under oath- which at this point is a running gag. Half the committee doesn't know the difference between a Facebook and a Twitter and so they are useless (unless grandstanding is most important to you.) And oh yeah, the "solution" already floating around from these geniuses is for the Gov't to get in on the action- the Gov't should police speech with Zuckerberg- wonderful!

He even got to use a booster seat.

-The President of the United States had his attorney raided- conservative press is moaning about the illegality of it but what's done is done. The Republican leadership is as fine with getting rid of Trump as the Democrats are, so what's legal is what they can get away with. And I bring'em up because it is a political issue. The thing with Mueller and his team of Democratic Party donors is that it doesn't matter what he finds out, he's doing yeoman's work for the Democratic Party 2020 run. He's going through every closet with these donors in toe and compiling a list of skeletons which is a goldmine of opposition research. There is no way, when the time comes, it isn't "leaked" or "whispered" or "directed" to whoever is the Democratic nominee for President of the United States. Zero, zilch and nada.

So, 3 Yuuuggggee losses for Mr.President. Not good.

very good summary Napster.

I love the part that Zuckerberg got to use a booster seat.

the only evidence needed of it being pure theater at it's finest.

There was nothing illegal about it. Quite the contrary: an extraordinarily high bar was met and the government is preparing to nab Cohen, a notorious (and dim-witted!) crook. The go-ahead was given by a Trump campaign donor and former Giuliani legal associate, someone Trump himself interviewed and approved for the position. Trump picks the best people, I heard.

Supposing Trump or an associate is guilty of criminal wrongdoing, I wonder what it would take for Trump Davidians to accept it.

Haha. Isn't funny, though, how Trump has relished calling for government investigations -- and jailing! -- of his political opponents at the drop of a hat but now finds himself in legal jeopardy with no one willing to take his case? It's almost like the chants of "lock her up!" were a big distraction from his own criminal taint.

Mr. P once said Trump has buried bodies. I guess now we'll find them :)

Trump may have found a way to evade national security regs on evidence he wants brought nto the light.

Trump certainly has evidence on uniparty bad actors. Mueller will now be officially informed and compelled to inventory and investigate that as well. Was Huma's 'life insurance' file in Trump's records? I guess Mueller must admit that into the corpus of evidence he is investigating.

Mueller has found nothing so far. It seems obvious Trump is simply keeping him out of play by stringing him along on a fool's errand. Will Mueller prove Trump has a smoke shifter or a left-handed monkey wrench hidden away somewhere?

Maybe sex between consenting adults. Yawn.

What Trump is hiding is his support by Adelson, Jewish organized crime figures and Chabad Lubavitch. Mueller is not going anywhere near that.

Proof or probable cause being?
and Chabad Lubavitch.
They like Trump? It is a 15.000 members sect of meta-physical die hards.. what power do they have, they brainwashed him?
Mueller is not going anywhere near that.
Probably because there is nothing there of legal interest.

It isnn't funny however that the left's only goal is to reverse an election by hook or crook Acting like illiberal fascists while doing it. That wasn't even their last resort after the election but their first resort "Insurance policy" Concocted before a single vote was cast.

Not buying it:

Eric Erickson is not a credible source. He's been a sore@ss since the primaries, has fibbed in the past, and has been running "anonymous source" anti-Trump stories since the inauguration. Furthermore, the complaints are the same vague broad strokes which fit in with a stereotype of how some people view President Trump-- meaning, not exactly insightful and doubtful from someone actually fed up with the man. Whether they are true or not is neither here nor there; the piece follows a narrative structure a lazy fabulist would conjure up to meet a writing deadline.

[I cannot think of a specific example at the moment but think of some of the incredulous stories opinion journalists will write- "I was at Christmas dinner and grandma declared she'd light me on fire when she met my Korean boyfriend," type stories which strain credibility because they are filled with 'just so' events and people suddenly acting abnormally in the precise ways which not only justify the writers thesis but practically hits you over the head with it. Whether there is a kernel of truth is always tough to say but the wish-fulfillment aspect overrides or overshadows whatever it is...

...come to think of it, I can think of a piece of journalism which fits: the Haven Monahan hoax.]

Why this one tickled everyone's fancy, as opposed to the others I don't know.

Saying that, I hope it is Erickson fantasy-porn because whoever this character is comes off worse than anything he says about the President.

1)He's a hypocrite
1a)He's stupid enough to admit that to blabbermouth Erickson.
2)He sounds like a baby.
3)Forrest Gump- both the book and Tom Hanks version- is written to be a tremendously likable oaf blessed with tremendous luck, as he stumbles from one major success to an other. The Tom Hanks version- and that's who were talking about because who expects our congressmen (or their narrators) to read hole boooks or real litterature- is not only a likable oaf but a morally righteous lodestar in a crazy, changing world. (Tom Hanks will play a dolt but he'll be a charismatic, morally perfect dolt, thank you very much. Everyone loves Forrest Gump in that movie (and in the audience, ) and would probably wanna be led by Forrest Gump, so he is a terrible example to use if you want to crap all over the President. Which again, would make him stoopid
