Jordan Peterson explains this issue clearly and in much greater detail. The Yahoo piece is far too shallow. This link has a transcript of Peterson's address which is easy to skim, but Peterson is an engaging teacher and I think the video is a good time investment.Doc wrote:https://www.yahoo.com/news/republicans- ... 00970.html

Peterson focuses on the pathology of the North American system he teaches in, but the topic is international.

Excellent link. Thanks for posting Nonc. Watching Peterson reminded me of both Mark Steyn's observations of Canada and Victor Davis Hanson's observations of the US.Nonc Hilaire wrote:Jordan Peterson explains this issue clearly and in much greater detail. Luckily, the little monsters are devouring their professors first. Seems a self-correcting feedback mechanism inherent in nature. Yea Darwin!
My niece once told me of one of her professors who was constantly claiming that Cuba was better than the US. I suggested she ask him why he is not living in Cuba.

Faucie turned me on to Peterson in this forum. A couple of his complete courses are on YT.
Fascinating man. You can tell from his body language he is not just teaching but rather thinking out loud around his prepared lecture.

Back to the subject, going to college, and attending lectures on how to be overly sensitive, and view oneself as a perennial victim seems to lead to low self-esteem and unhappiness.....
I thought being a superior being was supposed to be fun....
