dvorak

Tea is nought but this: first you heat the water, then you make the tea. Then you drink it properly.

dvorak

Post by Taboo »

has anyone here used dvorak? I am seriously considering sinking 100 hours or so into learning how to type in dvorak. My current typing speed and style is pretty dreadfull (6-finger typing, I call it)

However, I am not a teenager anyomore, so learning new stuff is hard.

Opinions? Suggestions?

i was once part of an extremely geeky coding team in corporate melbourne and we all did the dvorak thing for a while but it quickly faded out and noone stuck with it.

unless you only have one device that you always use for both work and home its really just a pain in the backside readjusting all the time.
most of us have several home devices and many many more machines we use at work.

the small amount of pleasure you get from smugly watching someone else type gobbledygook when they try and use your machine isnt worth it :P
