In other words, "Hey, let's go running into that field of landminds."
It is a serious problem that is not gonna be fixed in any of our lifetimes. A cold comfort from experience is that scholars, far removed emotionally and chronologically, tend to learn how much salt one should accept depending on the era; and frankly, the people.
