Try celebrating “high quality ignorance”

For any interested in the book, The Magician's Twin, I ran across this on the Web . . a much extended (31 min.) version of the video I posted above:

That's a video that starts out making some excellent points.
However, it is diminished by it's poor choice in using evolution as an example, for which the observational and experimental evidence is overwhelming.
The lack of a credible alternative theory by it's critics weakens their case.

On the other hand, eugenics is the mis-application of a mis-understanding of the theory of evolution and can be called "Scientism"

Mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology are science.

My rule of thumb is that any field that has "science" in it's name isn't:

political science, social science, scientific socialism, cognitive science [psychology], scientific eugenics, climate science, etc.

Climate science today is a good example of what C.S. Lewis [and you] call "Scientism" gone out of control. The eugenics movement of our time.
