All correct, as it was for Bush II, but nothing happened to him given even greater protest movements and international objections, and less will happen now. People seem pretty used to the idea that this is what America is and how it behaves. Seemed more shocking in 2003.
It would be interesting to know what percentage of the world's population (Americans included of course) agree with Daly's appraisal. Substantial to be sure.
