I just downloaded Popcorn Time and was flooded with a half-dozen requests to install malware.

I quit watching "Breaking Bad" after the second or third episode. Maybe I quit too soon. I hear it's an excellent morality tale about a teacher who cannot afford American healthcare, so he quits teaching and turns to crime in order to pay his medical bills.

Usually those series take a few episodes before they draw you in, at least that's my experience.

Did you download it from the site that I had posted or elsewhere?

Either way, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I have antivirus etc software installed that blocks all that stuff.

In that case, I guess I should not wait for a Breaking Bad Japan . . .

I searched for it on my desktop. Got one of those "You are infected, download this program to remove" Trojan suckerbait windows.

Scam sites often use popular software download as sucker bait.

Suggest using the site I linked and an "official" site, rather than a 3rd party site, in general.

Looks like the '90s are back. Not only is a new Twin Peaks series in the works, but...

breaking bad got boring for me aswell - it had some excellent moments but the ratio of boring filler to witty was not good enough to sustain me - apparently it gets better again in later seasons but i cant muster the carefactor.

the same team are doing 'better call saul' which is a prequel too breaking bad about the seedy lawyer who was one of the hilights of the series.

ive now watched the entire first season and enjoyed it all - less flat family drama moments and a far more charismatic main character.

Film on prophet's childhood chosen as Iran's Oscar entry

Mohammad, the Messenger of God depicts the childhood of the Muslim prophet. It is reportedly the costliest production in the history of Iranian cinema.

Why is Hollywood making a movie about Trumbo ?
To whitewash the traitor and his comrades

“Dalton Trumbo was a socialist, but he loved being rich.” So says Bryan Cranston, who stars in “Trumbo,” out this week, and plays the screenwriter who went to prison with the Hollywood Ten in the time of Harry Truman.

Actually, Trumbo was not a socialist. Bernie Sanders is a socialist. Trumbo was a Stalinist, a hard-core Communist when the Communist Party USA was run from Moscow by the Comintern, agents of the greatest mass murderer of the 20th century. Trumbo was not what Lenin called a “useful durian,” a liberal simpleton. He was the real deal, a Bolshevik who followed every twist and turn in the Moscow party line.

..

A talented screenwriter who wrote “Roman Holiday,” “Spartacus,” and “Exodus,” Trumbo was attracted to revolutionary violence. Invited to do a screenplay of William Styron’s “Confessions of Nat Turner,” about the Virginia slave who led a rampage of rape and murder in 1831, Trumbo wrote back:

How can an intelligent man be a communist ?

Totally shocking, astonishing. Watched all 10 episodes on Netflix in one stroke last night till the early hours. Anyone watching it? I need a support group.

Not too difficult if one is living in a democracy, safe from ever being on the receiving end of one's communist beliefs.

Religion may be the opiate of the masses [Marx, Karl],
however, first communism and now various -isms, post-modernism, progressivism, climatism, etc., are the opiates of the intelligentsia.

Must say... that this WW2 '45 footage with music.. is pretty astonishing especially between 16:00-19:00. As if choreographed with image and music working together perfectly in every move... into the surreal. With the SS-girl (likely?) walking to the camera with swollen face after probably been beaten up and holding a pack of cards for comfort, looking into the camera... a scene right out of the walking dead. And still so pretty... makes you wonder how a babe becomes a bitch for Adolf. Same of course for the dead and dying SS dudes alongside the road. That is what running after a hysteric psychopath does to ya.. and to all the other victims of WW2.

Watched House of Cards season 4 which ended with this scene where Underwood, his wife and staff members watch a live video of the beheading of a guy by two American ISIS enthusiasts, where Underwood looks into the camera saying:

"That's right, we don't submit to terror......we make the terror."
