Iran’s arms industry is growing rapidly, turning the country into a large-scale exporter of low-cost, high-tech weapons whose clients are vexing the U.S. and its partners in the Middle East, Ukraine and beyond.
The transformation of the industry, accelerated by Russia’s 2022 purchase of thousands of drones that altered the battlefield in Ukraine, has helped Tehran scale up its support of militia allies in Middle East conflicts that have intensified alongside Israel’s war with Hamas in Gaza.
One of Iran’s top arms exports, a Shahed suicide drone, designed to carry explosives and crash into its target, was used to kill three American servicemembers in Jordan in an attack by an Iraqi militia group on Jan. 28, U.S. officials said.

Well, warfare has changed , mad mullahs changed it

Tehran is eager to disrupt U.S. and Israeli interests in the Middle East but wary of provoking a direct confrontation, officials in the region say.
DUBAI, Feb 21 (Reuters) - Iran has provided Russia with a large number of powerful surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, six sources told Reuters, deepening the military cooperation between the two U.S.-sanctioned countries.
This road-mobile missile is capable of striking targets at a distance of between 300 and 700 km (186 and 435 miles), experts say.
.
"There will be more shipments," the second Iranian official said. "There is no reason to hide it. We are allowed to export weapons to any country that we wish to."
.
"They are used to point at things that are high value and need precise damage," said Lewis, adding that 400 munitions could inflict considerable harm if used in Ukraine. He noted, however, that Russian bombardments were already "pretty brutal".
A Ukrainian military source told Reuters that Kyiv had not registered any use of Iranian ballistic missiles by Russian forces in the conflict.
."The relationship is transactional: in exchange for drones, Iran expects more security cooperation and advanced weaponry, particularly modern aircraft," he said.
A group of Iranian patients suffering from Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare inherited skin disorder, filed a complaint against the US at the international relations legal court (branch 55) in Tehran.
The patients alleged that the sanctions imposed by the US and other Western countries prevented a Swedish company from selling special medical bandages and pharmaceuticals to Iran, causing serious physical and mental harm to them.
As a result of the order issued by the court, an oil cargo belonging to the US was seized from the ADVANTAGE SWEET oil tanker in the Persian Gulf.
The value of the oil shipment is estimated to be more than $50 million.
European powers that had partnered with the United States in cementing the JCPOA in 2015 and who condemned then-U.S. President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the deal in 2018 suddenly appear uninterested in Iran’s nuclear weapons progress. In the wake of the troubling November meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors, the so-called E3 and the United States stood together to condemn Iran’s decision to increase its production of uranium enrichment to 60 percent. But, reported Reuters at the time, “the allies made no mention of any consequences Iran could face for the production hike.”
In balancing U.S. interests and priorities, the White House and its allies in Europe will face two options : Engage in a region ever more dominated by Iran and its proxies, or cede Iranian dominance, replete with a lethal nuclear weapons program.
The choice should be obvious.

Have you seen the video from Uzi? NO way that helicopter should have been flying in that fog in the mountains. The red crescent said visibility was 5 meters. Seems like two people survived the crash but are injured. But Seriously HP the "Agenda Free" you tube channel while not perfect is a better choice to look for real news in real time. The guy talks to much but he does not talk nearly as much as the talking heads of the MSM. In fact he does not say anything much of the time if there is nothing to say. And he only covers some of the stories in his live streams. He makes a point of stating clearly when something has not been confirmed as fact without giving political opinions. In fact CNBC was saying that the president was dead hours before it was confirmed. After Jim Cramer was telling people to buy buy buy stocks in 2007 and 2008 I stopped watching CNBC. The guy on agenda free tv waited until it was official to report that while stating simply that it did not look good. He also question why the VP and Minister of the interior claimed that two people on the Helicopter were contacted when the helicopter burned when it crashed and there were no survivors.LIVE: Iran President DEAD - Iranians Rise Up Against Islamists
