Stephen Curry says he does not believe humans have been to the moon, a stance which is clearly unsupported by facts and hopefully just a joke.

Curry made the proclamation on The Ringer's podcast "Winging It" with teammate Andre Iguodala and hosts Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore; you can hear the exchange around the 46-minute mark. There's some talking over each other that makes it hard to hear, but when the discussion turns to the moon landing, almost everyone seems to agree we've never been there. In the chorus of moon landing rejections, Curry clearly says, "They're gonna come get us. I don't think so either."
Three-time NBA champion Stephen Curry will take space agency NASA up on its offer to tour its lunar lab after he sparked controversy by saying he did not believe humans had ever been to the Moon, comments he later called a joke.

Here are the top 10 conspiracy theories of 2018, all foisted and propagated via mainstream media (MSM):

#1. POTUS Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the 2016 Presidential election and Mueller’s “Special Counsel” is getting to the bottom of it with a probe.

#2. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh gang raped several women over 30 years ago but nobody reported it.

#3. Former FBI head James Comey is a stand up guy who was unjustly fired by Trump.

#4. There’s no such thing as the “Deep State.”

#5. There’s no such thing as a bad or “illegal” immigrant, and U.S. border patrol agents murder and kidnap children every day.

#6. Over 80,000 Americans died of the flu this year.

#7. There was no “Uranium One” scandal and the Clintons are honest people who run an upscale non-profit organization called the Clinton Foundation.

#8. Google, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter are non-partisan and are not censoring, de-funding, or shadow-banning voices of Conservatives, natural health enthusiasts, or Constitutionalists.

#9. CNN, New York Times, and the Washington Post are real news.

#10. Socialism is not Communism and would be good for America.

#11 (Bonus) The conspiracy theory that will continue forever: Climate Change!

during Sacha Baron Cohens recent "take the piss out of americans" comedy fest he accidently stumbled onto a pedophile circuit.

they reported it to the FBI but it was not investigated.

https://www.newsweek.com/sacha-baron-co ... in-1267152

Rather than airing the segment, Baron Cohen and his production team turned the footage over to the FBI, “because we thought, perhaps there’s a pedophile ring in Las Vegas that’s operating for these very wealthy men. And this concierge had said that he’d worked for politicians and various billionaires.”

According to Baron Cohen, the FBI decided against pursuing the tip

A current Centers for Disease Control (CDC) senior scientist has made an unprecedented admission: he and his colleagues–he says– committed scientific misconduct to cover up a meaningful link between vaccines and autism in black boys.

Just as startling, the CDC scientist, Dr. William Thompson, says the study co-authors “scheduled a meeting to destroy documents related to the study. The remaining four co-authors all met and brought a big garbage can into the meeting room, and reviewed and went through all the hardcopy documents that we had thought we should discard, and put them into a huge garbage can.”
https://sharylattkisson.com/2016/03/23/ ... documents/
The bishops appearing before the parliamentary health committee said they had tested the vaccine privately and were shocked to find it was laced with a birth control hormone called beta human chorionic gonadotropin. “We are calling on all Kenyans to avoid the tetanus vaccination campaign because we are convinced it is indeed a disguised population control program,” said Bishop Paul Kariuki, chairman of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops’ health committee.
https://www.theaquilareport.com/kenyas- ... -disguise/

Links to the fake vaccines discovered in Italy posted earlier. Anyone who thinks MMR vaccines are beneficial should be outraged.

These are just a few examples of why the safety and effectiveness of vaccines are questioned. It is obvious that the vaccine industry cannot be trusted to verify their own products. We need to restore choice in the US, but also BEGIN testing and accountability. Antivaxxers may over extrapolate, but they have have plenty of valid concerns which are not being addressed.

I can offer the opposite conspiracy on this - that modern autism spectrum is a new diagnosis for an old condition called personality type and the real tragedy is the definition of normal is being squeezed down into the blandest, passive aggresive yet flexible worker unit.

as such, their is no rise in autism, just a rise in diagnosing people for not being the perfect controllable specimen for corporate office politics.

The Japanese salaryman [white collar office worker] should just self-identify as an "American Racist/Sexist/blank-o-phobe," lawyer up, and sue his former employer.

No, I consulted on the first autism treatment unit in Louisiana. The syndrome was completely unknown until the early seventies. People with full blown autism say stuff like this:

This claim has been repeatedly debunked.

A quick internet search reveals a profusion of looney tune conspiracy theories regarding this issue.

How it all started.

What the article does not mention is Wakefield's motivation.
He had developed a competing measles vaccine and his goal was to discredit the one in use and promote his own as an alternative.

History of Autism
From your citation:
"It was in 1980’s that Asperger’s work was translated to English and published and came into knowledge."
Autism was not a recognized syndrome in the US until the early seventies. We diagnosed these people as mentally retarded with self-injurous or self-destructive behavior unless they had Lesch-Nyhan.

More crockpot antivax conspiracy theory from The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS).
The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) strongly opposes federal interference in medical decisions, including mandated vaccines. After being fully informed of the risks and benefits of a medical procedure, patients have the right to reject or accept that procedure. The regulation of medical practice is a state function, not a federal one. Governmental preemption of patients’ or parents’ decisions about accepting drugs or other medical interventions is a serious intrusion into individual liberty, autonomy, and parental decisions about child-rearing. . . .

Many serious complications have followed MMR vaccination, and are listed in the manufacturers’ package insert, though a causal relationship may not have been proved. According to a 2012 report by the Cochrane Collaboration, “The design and reporting of safety outcomes in MMR vaccine studies, both pre- and post-marketing, are largely inadequate” (cited by the National Vaccine Information Center).

Fascinating. Thanks for posting. Seems like the logical conclusion of politicians can't get elected without first becoming celebrities and brands. While the pollsters continually tell us what demographic group X is thinking.

Pollsters, PR experts, SM experts, and king makers are the real seat of power in politics? Sure.

This also seems to be a continuation of the Palin-Obama-Tea Party-Occupy Wall Street-Bernie Sanders-Donald Trump, "anyone but an established member of either party" trend. And why the establishment in both parties views outsiders are the real threat to continuing to hold office.

The big question is, is Mr. Perfect working with the Young Turks to dismantle the Democratic Party? :P Or does the bromide "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" not valid in this instance?
