Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wants to end food poverty in India by enacting a legal right to demand food. He says “nobody will sleep hungry in the country once this is fully implemented.”
Is it not heartwarming to see such a practical application of basic human morality in the world today?
Alex.
Thank You Very Much for the thread, Alex Manolo.

IMVHO it may be an ideal.......
Not even sure about that.......
Ask/beg for food....... Yes......
Stray cats and dogs do that too.......
And people often say yes if they are friendly......
Sometimes they even get adopted....
But if they demand/steal food.......
Sometimes the result is not as happy......
Particularly if the food is chickens
Or the dog is scary.......
But why stop at food........
Why not medicine too ...... Lots of people in Uz feel a need for pain medicine that is perhaps stronger than hunger for food
..... They have broken into the houses of neighbors of mine trying to get it.......
Why not televisions and video games? ....... They prevent boredom and just this week 3 young teen aged Chaos Monkey Men got so bored that they killed a man from Oz because they were bored..... If these young men had had the right to walk into a store and demand the latest game console and game, perhaps the Ozzie would still be alive...
But in any case IMHO it is not a practical application......
AIUI the world now usually produces sufficient food for the population of Depraved Sinful Egotistical Chaos Monkey Humans to not starve....
The problem being to get the food from the gardens
, orchards, farms and ranches to the consumers........
Remembering the famine many years ago in Ethiopia when the food aid coming in from the world was REQUIRED to use the trucking company of the wife of the "socialist" President to get to the starving...... Needless to say it was HIGHLY profitable for her........
