If you want to see people being murdered (terrorist videos, military "kill-cams," news footage) and you have an internet connection then you are in luck. Doesn't matter if its facebook or somebody else.

I'm sure that somewhere there is video of a nice Iraqi family eating dinner together and singing songs, it just doesn't sell these days.

That's a noddy idiom, not a U.S. One. And I loved it too.

i cant take credit for it - its a misquote from blackadder (my favourite english history resource) and it should have been the more amusing "devils dumplings".

it came from the episode that blackadders puritan relatives, the whiteadders, visited him

http://www.suslik.org/Humour/FilmOrTV/B ... ba2-5.html
Percy: I must say, Edmund, it was jolly nice of you to ask me to share your
breakfast before the rigours of the day begin.

Edmund: Well, it is said, Percy, that civilised man seeks out good and
intelligent company, so that, through learned discourse, he may
rise above the savage and closer to God.

Percy: Yes, I've heard that.

Edmund: Personally, however, I like to start the day with a total dickhead
to remind me I'm best.

Boobies [the Devil's Dumplings] may be heard, if not seen, in the US Supreme Court

How much has the legal battle cost the local school board to-date?
