Inspired by Mr. Perfect's Left Wing Supply Siders thread.

Of all the people you know, well enough to be on a first name basis with them, which would you estimate to be the grater number?

Left wing political activists who are hypocrites based on their personal actions.

or

Right wing religious activists who are hypocrites based on their personal actions.

I have enough of my own issues and hypocrisies to be seeking those out in others. I will have to pass on this one.

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? Thanks. Seeing your own flaws in others (or vice versa) is the basis of a good sense of humor. And a good coping/bonding mechanism. And great therapy.

The former, because I live in Europe, the latter hardly exist except in minority communities which I do not come into contact with. The former are of course largely a substitute for the latter. I also know right wing activists who think that the EU is the embodiment of evil, but they are not religious.

As for "do not judge", all very well to say that, but then critical thinking goes out of the window.

When I lived in NY, I knew more left wing, political activist, social justice hypocrites.

Now that I live in the Bible Belt, I know more right wing, religious hypocrites.

Both archetypes seem very.... "human."
