If they can make it fly, I'm sure they can add a camera anytime they want, don't you think?... Or maybe they will prefer to add a few missiles... :D

Easier said than done in this case ;)

.

Adding all sorts of Camera & Radar no brainer, dime a dozzen .. what makes or brakes this thing not even the stealth technology

Heart of the matter is the "distance control" (very fast) Satellite link .. though, one could use airborne relay planes, but, being really effective the Satellite (technology) would be the key

The video a bit ambiguous .. though it shows a few shots of rolling take off, but the flying scenes could be just a miniature model

RG saying it will enter service next few months .. we will see

if they cant make it fly they should go to primary school and learn how to make a kite with the schoolkids.

drones are almost brainfree consumer items with very little skill required, especially if they takeoff and land from open airports, the only trickery required to make them millitary grade is in the sattelite protocols and making them more difficult to jam/takeover.

That is what I was thinking. Iran probably bought a drone kit on Amazon. :D

Where did they buy the gear which fooled the original drone into landing in Iran?... :D

I hope American ICBM's are a little better protected, or a future US first strike may actually land in Washington DC... :D

the jammers only work in a small area so only work on slower devices like drones... none of the consumer devices are hardened against it so you can have all sorts of fun with cars and boats by driving behind people who are dependant on GPS :)

i think a boat has already been highjacked using this tech and avoiding this is the area of expertise required for millitary drones, flying robots are schoolkid stuff now.

next step is using things like realtime imaging to actually follow the landscape like a map which is much harder to jam or send false signals.

They didn't buy it. Russian electronics warfare specialists brought it down by jamming its control signals. For some idiotic reason the drones were programed to land if they lost contact with home.
