interesting progressive article on why sustainability is broken - peasants are stupid

i suggest we will see the terms "promethan gap" and “apocalyptic blindness” turn up as memes one day soon.

I do like the cynicism at our blind faith in progress but the rest gives me shudders.

Me thinks the doomer porn industry is self-sustaining, and appears to continue to be sustainable as far as the eye can see! Maybe even infinetely sustainable

If "they" pitch too much of a bitch, tell them it's Karma and that "they" deserve what they are getting...... :P

The track record of supposed experts in predicting an imminent apocalypse is no better than that of biblical fundamentalists.

Probably worse.

The secular auto-flagellants have been at it since the time of Malthus. However, they do deserve top marks for being consistent.
