The death of obamacare

So now the death spiral begins. obamacare was the largest piece of legislation probably since Medicare in the 1960's, and to chronicle it's demise will be a lengthy process. Passed about 7 years ago and in effect a little over 4, most of it's major promises were broken (reduction in cost, universal coverage) and it destroyed the party that birthed it. Over half the Senators who voted for it are no longer in office. Before obamacare passed the Democrats were 60% of government, now they are 40%. Mostly due to obama's poor economy and obamacare itself.
It is probably the greatest domestic policy failure/collapse of our history.

The number of consumers who signed up for 2018 Obamacare health insurance surpassed the 1 million mark in the second-to-last week of enrollment, the government said on Wednesday, but it did not appear to be enough to grow the program.
“With just a few more days left until Friday’s deadline, we think enrollment is tracking towards a single-digit percent decline (if renewal rate holds consistent with prior years and year-over-year growth in new sign-ups seen to date is sustained), but it all comes down to an uncertain final surge,” Newshel wrote in a research note.
