May have been said in the article noddy posted, but if the Tasmanian Tiger were still around, one of them would've ended up as roadkill at some point.

I'm not too worried about that one though, that's high up on the list of creatures who will be cloned, along with the Wooly Mammoth.

Cloning will be great for Big Game Hunting preserves, and make places like WestWorld possible and profitable.

That may be the case, we've not crossed that threshold yet so who knows where it leads.

Fascinating that we can look at all the different variation of mammal species and then think we are the only humans on the planet.

David Paulides has done some fascinating research into Bigfoot/Sasquatch and people who disappeared under very mysterious circumstances. Would be a very fun way to earn a living! Tramping around huge tracts of wilderness talking to people who say "Fine! Believe me or not! You weren't there, I was!"

I'm currently reading a second book by Thom Powell. The previous one The Locals was fascinating. This one Edges of Science really gets out there. I like his attitude. "These things seem to be happening, and we can't explain it conventionally! Some aspects of reality seem paranormal!" Thank Scientists for Quantum Mechanics and Multi-Dimensional theory!

One can't imagine a scenario that has not already been proposed or witnessed...... The human experience really is the recognition of inkblots.

I'd bet escaped dog, dragging a leash along.

That tail is more dog than fox-like. As is the posture of the tail while the creature saunters.

What's really throwing off the CCTV capture is that leash bouncing along the ground. In motion I could see it being confused as a movie-theropod hindleg but hit pause, and all sorts of problems become apparent.

that seems eerily similar to the scientific method of sorting all data by race in order to prove there is a racial component to the data. There is accuracy and then there is stability of income. Never should the two be confused!
