The World's Best Hackers :
Why Iran is A Bigger Threat To The U.S. Than Russia, China or North Korea

Officials said the hackers allegedly targeted dozens of U.S. universities, companies and government agencies—as well as the United Nations—and stole around 31 terabytes of data and intellectual property from entities worldwide.
Well, that is certainly something of which to be proud.

The company one keeps: North Korea, Russia, PR China . . .

Well, one can count on the remaining fingers of a stub of an amputated hand the number of contributions of Iran to the development of

Iranians, Pomegranates, have invented Science, scientific mindset, scientific methodology .. this the mother of all inventions

If one goes back in history of Europe, even Greek history, there was no "scientific thinking, methodology" .. philosophy or mathematic nothing to do with "scientific thinking, methodology".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XXCiHJOULQ

a good sample of "scientific thinking, methodology" .. calculating the diameter of planet Earth within 200 miles accuracy, 1000 yrs ago

"scientific thinking, methodology" is a way of thinking needed for scientific discovery and progress

The way now scientist think was introduced by Iranians , the rest is "nickel and dime"

you dont have to convince us, you need to convince the Indians who are also certain the Arab Golden age is a lie based on Indian cleverness.

doesnt matter anyway

your "nickel and dime" is the industrial revolution and that was perfidious albion in the 1700's - the biggest most amazing change in humanity since rocks got invented.

everything else is cavemen stuff - the fact you still are squabbling over why Iran still hasnt caught up 300 years later, is another story.

When Shah left , American military specialist leaving Iran "sabotaged" Iranian F-14 and their AIM-54 Phoenix missiles before leaving Iran

When Iran ran out of Air-to-Air (AIM-54) Phonix missiles, F-14 became useless

Iran converted and fitted their (SAM) "Ground-to-Air" MIM-23 Hawk to Iranian F-14

Meaning the Ground to Air (SAM) missiles became a F-14 launched Air to Air missiles

This was not only needed the much heavier and stronger Hawk missile be fitted to F-14 with Aero dynamic and other hardware issues , but, the Hawk missile had to be guided by F-14 AN/AWG-9 Radar , an impossible task.

Iranians did it

So, Iranian F-14 were equipped with new Sedjils missiles

Americans did not believe this until Iran started shooting down Iragi Mirrages and Super-Etendard jets with F-14 fired Sedjils missiles .. Americans were stunt .. all done 40 yrs ago

Last week, home affairs minister Clare O’Neill said foreign interference was now a bigger domestic threat than terrorism.

“This is an urgent priority of the government. Our security agencies are really focused on this problem,” the minister told Channel 9’s 60 Minutes.

A troubling incident that has come to light allegedly involved Iranian foreign agents engaging in the stalking and harassment of Australian citizens.

Ongoing efforts by Iran to suppress dissent against its government and laws have intensified over the past year, which some believe was partly triggered by the arrest and death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini for wearing an improper hijab.

Protests sprung up all over the world in response to Ms Amini’s brutal demise at the hands of authorities in Iran, calling for an end to oppressive laws against women.

Supporters of Iran have responded by increasing the intensity of their online campaign to stop dissent against the Iranian regime both at home and abroad.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has now shifted its focus to intimidating anyone who speaks openly against the nation’s authoritarian regime.
She identified four major players that the Australian government is focused on: China, Russia, North Korea and Iran.

“Iran has long invested in very sophisticated cyber hacking tools and it has invested in a cadre of cyber spies that it uses to advance its strategic objectives and bolster the power of the regime,” she said.

“They believe that they have the right to reach into our democracy, particularly to harass, control and intimidate migrants or those who are perceived dissidents.

“Previously, authoritarian governments have done that domestically by controlling and surveilling their populations, but advancements in technology have really facilitated their ability to do that at scale. They have a reach we have never seen before.”

The Nobel Peace Prize committee finally got around to awarding the annual prize to someone worthy of it,
rather than the usual schmuck.
FT | Iranian women’s activist Narges Mohammadi wins Nobel Peace Prize
Award given for her ‘fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights’
The jailed Iranian rights activist Narges Mohammadi was on Friday awarded the Nobel Peace Prize “for her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights and freedom for all”, in a boost for opponents of the Islamic regime.

The Nobel committee said the 2023 award “also recognises the hundreds of thousands of people who, in the preceding year, have demonstrated against the theocratic regime’s policies of discrimination and oppression targeting women”.

One of Iran’s best-known activists, 51-year-old Mohammadi has been arrested 13 times, convicted five times, and sentenced to a total of 31 years in prison and 154 lashes. She has spent most of the years since 2009 in prison, where she has continued campaigning, including for the rights of women in the country’s jails.

The prize comes just over a year after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in the custody of the Iranian morality police, which triggered months of protests calling for a secular government and for greater freedoms for Iranians, in one of the greatest challenges to Iran’s government in decades.

Speaking to the Financial Times in 2021, before her latest jailing, Mohammadi said she would continue her work even at the risk of further prison sentences. She has also campaigned against the death penalty.

“The ultimate solution is to have a secular state, but for now the alternative is to insist and persist as we [first] build up our civil society,” she said.

“Women’s message is we are not going to be silent, and we [will] disobey the law” which deprives women of equal rights such as the right to divorce, said Mohammadi at the time.

Charges against her have included forming illegal groups, acting against national security and spreading propaganda against the Islamic republic. Some of her campaigning has been carried out through the Defenders of Human Rights Center, founded by Nobel laureate Shirin Ebadi.

The Nobel committee invoked Mohammadi’s slogan: “Woman, life, freedom”. Berit Reiss-Andersen, head of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, called on Tehran to release Mohammadi. “If the Iranian authorities make the right decision, they will release her so that she can be present to receive this honour [on December 10],” Reiss-Andersen told reporters.

The former physics student and newspaper columnist has received other international awards such as the Per Anger Prize, awarded by the Swedish government in 2011, for her human rights work.

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani condemned the award as a “political act” and part of some European states’ “interventionist policies” towards Iran.

A senior Iranian government figure suggested the prize pointed to an international conspiracy against its rule, an idea it frequently invokes in the face of campaigning by Iranian women.

“It’s just too obvious, isn’t it?” wrote Mohammad Marandi, an adviser to Iranian diplomats including its nuclear negotiators, on the social platform X, formerly known as Twitter. “The West has failed in its regime change operation, and this will change nothing. It only shows how different entities in the West are interlinked.”

Advocates of reform in the country, however, hailed the news of Mohammadi’s award. “Congratulations to all freedom seekers and Iranians,” said Abdollah Momeni, a former political prisoner, on Instagram, describing Mohammadi as a woman “who bravely fought against tyranny as a genuine defender of human rights”.

The Islamic Republic has enforced strict rules on women’s participation in society since it took power in a 1979 revolution, from rules on headscarves to lesser legal rights than men in divorce cases, custody disputes and inheritances. Campaigners also report broader social problems affecting women, such as widespread domestic violence.

More than 300 people were killed during the protests that followed Amini’s death, but the tough government response prompted some Iranian families to try to stop younger members from protesting. Mohammadi said in 2021 she had witnessed growing numbers of younger women being incarcerated for fighting discrimination, as more than 70 prisoners were crammed into four small prison rooms.

As the protests escalated following Amini’s death, many women also began to refuse to obey the country’s headscarf rules.

Supporters of the Iranian woman’s movement welcomed the news of the Nobel Prize as international recognition of their struggle.

“This is the best news I’ve heard in a very long time,” said Hamideh, a 34-year-old private company employee. “I’m amazed how the Islamic republic could not make her kneel down, and this prize will make it even more difficult for them.”

United Nations secretary-general António Guterres said: “This Nobel Peace Prize is a tribute to all those women who are fighting for their rights at the risk of their freedom, their health and even their lives.”

Mahdi Cyrus Messiah addresses his people, Homo Persae
Dear HP,

You have forgotten me.

The "Muslim" war-lord heretics of 7th century AD that invaded Persia and ended my regional dominance was the Nakba day for you to remember. Of course much later Western Oil Cyclops Cowboy did the same, driving another dagger into your gentle heart.

Because Persian people are by nature soft-hearted, romantic, poetic, imaginative and intelligent (due to trauma also overly sensitive to conspiracy) they had no answer to the latest rapist who now came from the West.

Your first 7th century rapist however, with enough loyal offspring in your current society, did find the muscled answer against Western intrusions when Ruhollah Khomeini organized an Islamic revolt and took over your society. Once again and tragically enough, Rapist No 1. is now back in charge and controlling you. Driving you into a confrontation with Rapist No.2, the West and its forward ally spearhead, Israel.

You don't want war with Big Satan and Little Satan. Your mad mullahs are the Mad Max of the Muddle East.

1,2,3…. rapists competing over Persia, who would have thought.

Unfortunately this means the Mad Max Mullah Express is steering your country to the cliff, having turned Persia into a pawn of the great evildoers Putin-Russia, Rocket-man North Korea and its sponsor racist Han-Corp Giant-Panda Xi-CCP China. Your idea that this is a safe place and a good moment to raise a big middle finger to the arrogant West is not just delusional, it is very dangerous. My army will soon step in and put an end to all this madness.

Things that suddenly grow fast in power and size tend to collapse rather soon and violently. Things that grow slowly and persist over time however, surviving hundreds of wars, despite millions of gallons of wasted human blood with innocence being killed, maimed, murdered without interruption... are there to see.

Just look at the patterns that were created simultaneously, that survived and keep re-emerging, globally. A vision of peace, of co-existence despite differences. Where borders are not obstacles, just remnants of a bloody past and now organic, semi-permeable membranes where people shake hands and decide to be brothers and sisters. What is peace but safe-spaces for all?

That same dream also knocked at the door of early Islam, captured in its oldest Quranic poetry. Later writings contained the usual violent musings to be used by Muslim armies to conquer and coerce, subdue populations. When Allah inspired the old Quranic writings he was in a good mood, in later ones you feel His frustration, impatience and anger. You also find his calls to war and murder.

You don't need to dig deep to find similar bi-polar mood swings in Christian and Jewish holy scripture. Or any other human writing and ideology in fact. This makes sure we will always be able to see a human face in the divine. I'm told he is even OK with having a dog-face attached for dogs who reach out to him. A human trans-face for men and women who have to reject the narrow male-female dichotomy is an easy one. There is enough space in the divine heart for everybody to find a home.

I Cyrus the Great was the first touched by this dream, understanding that people need to be allowed to be different, respectfully leaving each other alone, shake hands safely, open their doors to strangers.

The oldest time traveler companions are the people of Persia and Israel. An Empire where people know how to shake hands is not bound by physical borders. Ordinary Iranian and Israeli people will shake hands, rid themselves of the Mad Max Bully Train that is now pushing them to mutual annihilation. That handshake is the beginning of my army that will clean out the barn.

Heaven is not created with candy but with enough Hell to want it.

May fortune and peace be with Persia and Israel.

Yours truly,
MCM
