Four reasons why China is fast becoming the dominant power in the world....

1. They have a very low tolerance for crime. The death sentence is swiftly and routinely used for terrorists, murderers and drug traffickers.

2. Very low tolerance for Religion. They do not believe there is a Magic man in the sky. No such thing as a God. Almost no religious killings ???, and getting rid of the Indigenous Chinese Muslim population as fast as they can.

3. They have not been involved in any expensive wars or invaded any country for the last seventy years.

4. Their primary weapon of choice to conquer the world is Finance, and countries around the world are falling fast.

Not just the USA but all world is in trouble

In the near future, China will employ millions of American workers and dominate thousands of small communities all over the United States. Chinese acquisition of US businesses set a new all-time record last year, and it is on pace to shatter that record this year.

The Smithfield Foods acquisition is a great example. Smithfield Foods is the largest pork producer and processor in the world. It has facilities in 26 US states, and it employs tens of thousands of Americans. It directly owns 460 farms and has contracts with about 2,100 others. But now a Chinese company has bought it for $ 4.7 billion, and that means that the Chinese will now be the most important employer in dozens of rural communities all over America.

Thanks in part to our massively bloated trade deficit with China, the Chinese have trillions of dollars to spend. They are only just starting to exercise their economic muscle.

It is important to keep in mind that there is often not much of a difference between "the Chinese government" and "the Chinese corporations". In 2011, 43 percent of all profits in China were produced by companies where the Chinese government had a controlling interest.

Last year a Chinese company spent $2.6B to purchase AMC entertainment, one of the largest movie theater chains in the United States. Chinese companies control more movie ticket sales than anyone else in the world.

But China is not just relying on acquisitions to expand its economic power.

"Economic beachheads" are being established all over America. For example, Golden Dragon Precise Copper Tube Group, Inc. recently broke ground on a $100M plant in Thomasville, Alabama. Many of the residents of Thomasville, Alabama will be glad to have jobs, but it will also become yet another community that will now be heavily dependent on Communist China.

And guess where else Chinese companies are putting down roots? DETROIT.

Chinese-owned companies are investing in American businesses and new vehicle techno-logy, selling everything from seat belts to shock absorbers in retail stores, and hiring experienced engineers and designers in an effort to soak up the talent and expertise of domestic automakers and their suppliers.

If you recently purchased an "American-made" vehicle, there is a really good chance that it has a number of Chinese parts in it. Industry analysts are hard-pressed to put a number on the Chinese suppliers in the United States.

China is very interested in acquiring energy resources in the United States.

For example, China is actually mining for coal in the mountains of Tennessee. Guizhou Gouchuang Energy Holdings Group spent 616 million dollars to acquire Triple H Coal Co. in Jacksboro, Tennessee.

At the time, that acquisition really didn't make much news, but now a group of conservatives in Tennessee is trying to stop the Chinese from blowing up their mountains and taking their coal.

And pretty soon China may want to build entire cities in the United States just like they have been doing in other countries. Right now China is actually building a city larger than Manhattan just outside Minsk, the capital of Belarus.

Are you starting to get the picture yet?
China is on the rise and has been for a long time while America plays political games.

If you doubt this, just read the following:

When you total up all imports and exports,
China is now the number one trading nation on the entire planet.

# Overall, the US has run a trade deficit with China
over the past decade that comes to more than 23 trillion dollars.

# China has more foreign currency reserves than anyone else on the planet.

# China now has the largest new car market in the entire world.

# China now produces more than twice as many automobiles as does the United States.

# After being bailed out by US taxpayers, GM is involved in 11 joint ventures with Chinese companies.

# China is the number one gold producer in the world.

# The uniforms for the US Olympic team were made in China.

# 85% of all artificial Christmas trees the world over are made in China.

# The new World Trade Center tower in New York includes glass imported from China.

# China now consumes more energy than does the United States.

# China is now in aggregate the leading manufacturer of goods in the entire world.

# China uses more cement than the rest of the world combined.

# China is now the number one producer of wind and solar power on the entire globe.

# China produces 3 times as much coal and 11 times as much steel as the United States does.

# China produces more than 90 percent of the global supply of rare earth elements.

# China is now the number one supplier of components
that are critical to the operation of any national defense system.

# In published scientific research articles, China will become number one in the world very shortly.
And what we have seen so far may just be the tip of the iceberg.

And for now, I will just leave you with one piece of advice - Learn to speak Chinese.

From the program notes:
Part memoir and part reportage, After the Fall is a hugely ambitious and essential work of discovery. In his travels, Rhodes comes to realize how much American's fingerprints are on a world we helped to shape, through our post-Cold War embrace of unbridled capitalism and our post-9/11 nationalism and militarism; our mania for technology and social media; and the racism that fueled the backlash to America's first Black president. At the same time, Rhodes learns from the stories of a diverse set of characters--from Barack Obama himself to Cuban rebels to a rising generation of international leaders--that looking squarely at where America has gone wrong makes clear how essential it is to fight for what America is supposed to be, for our country and the entire world."

Guys , that thing just hit the fan

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/24/us/p ... adows.html

The messages between Ms. Thomas and Mark Meadows are the first evidence that she directly advised the White House in efforts to reverse the election results.

The congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack obtained 29 text messages between Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and the White House chief of staff.

.
In one message sent in the days after the election, she urged the chief of staff, Mark Meadows, to “release the Kraken and save us from the left taking America down,” invoking a slogan popular on the right that refers to a web of conspiracy theories that Trump supporters believed would overturn the election.

In another, she wrote: “I can’t see Americans swallowing the obvious fraud. Just going with one more thing with no frickin consequences.” She added: “We just cave to people wanting Biden to be anointed? Many of us can’t continue the GOP charade.”

PR China is currently preoccupied with

1. A rapidly growing COVID-19 pandemic;

2. A deflating share market; and

3. A deflating property sector wherein real estate accounts for more than 30% of PR China GDP and is the major investment for the future for most PR Chinese.

Israel does not play any role in what's at play re Iran

Israel uses Iran threat just to milk America .. Iran uses Israel just to tease US

What Iran is all about is Iran working on dominating, taking under umbrella , not only Middle East but also Central Asia, Caucasus

From Mediterranean (Lebanon) to China's border

That is what Iran working on ..not military take over, but , soft power (and military)

the start of the end was Bush 2 - and the lack of ability for America to turn millitary dominance into cultural dominance.

Iraq and Afhganistan both showed that America was impotent, so everything since then has just been the consequences.

Yes, what you say is the case

American mistake was not understand wars are won on "cultural level" and military force just a facilitator to that "cultural understanding".

Reason for America not understanding this, is America's culture itself .. America never tried to understand other cultures, America even does not understand Europe.

Look at auto production .. since 100 yrs Mercedes makes cars for all nations based on that nations consumer and cultural preferences .. not so American car producers GM, Ford, Chrysler .. they still dont make cars that Germans or italians would buy

NYT
American Voters Haven’t Been Afraid Like This
in a Long Time

In a rare convergence, America’s voters are not merely unhappy with their political leadership, but awash in fears about economic security, border security, international security and even physical security. Without a U-turn by the Biden administration, this fear will generate a wave election like those in 1994 and 2010, setting off a chain reaction that could flip the House and the Senate to Republican control in November, and ultimately the presidency in 2024.

..

People are afraid of being walloped financially, being injured or menaced by criminals, being in a country without strong borders or Covid protections for immigrants, and being under threat of nuclear weapons. If Mr. Biden and Democratic leaders cannot effectively address these fears, the wave election will hit them in November, and the president will then face a sobering choice of either passing the baton to another candidate in 2024 or finding the bold leadership necessary to reconcile his drive for more progressive policies with the realities of economics, politics and a more dangerous world.

From the NYT:

Greg Bensinger
Twitter Under Elon Musk Will Be a Scary Place
April 25, 2022

Greg Bensinger

By Greg Bensinger

Mr. Bensinger is a member of the editorial board.
Twitter has never been a place for rational, nuanced speech. Expect it to get much, much worse.
The decision by Twitter’s board of directors on Monday afternoon to accept a takeover bid from Elon Musk means the company thinks the social media company would be best served by the ownership of a man who uses the platform to slime his critics, body-shame people, defy securities laws and relentlessly hawk cryptocurrencies.

Mr. Musk said that central to his vision for the service is for it to be an “inclusive arena for free speech,” but users should understand what that phrase means: It means free speech for people like Mr. Musk, a billionaire and the world’s richest man. Even as Twitter’s board on Monday was debating his offer of $54.20 per share, which it accepted, Mr. Musk was setting the tone for his leadership by tweeting that Securities and Exchange Commission officials were “shameless puppets.”

Mr. Musk has not been a responsible caretaker for the companies he already oversees: Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink and the Boring Company. In the early months of the pandemic, Mr. Musk thumbed his nose at health officials — whose shelter-in-place orders he called “fascist” — by forcing workers at Tesla back on the job, in violation of local health regulations. And Tesla has been dogged for years by allegations of racist abuse, discrimination and sexual harassment at its factory in Fremont, Calif., where six women say they suffered catcalling and unwanted touching and advances. The company has said it does not tolerate such behavior.

Several former SpaceX interns made similar allegations about a lax attitude toward sexual harassment by supervisors and peers, The New York Times reported. The company has said it is investigating the allegations.

A California regulator, meanwhile, recently sued the company over reports of racial discrimination against hundreds of employees, including a lack of promotion opportunities and the use of racial slurs by supervisors. According to a civil suit filed by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing in California Superior Court in Alameda County, Mr. Musk told workers to be “thick skinned” about suffering racist harassment while on the job. Tesla has denied the allegations.

No wonder many Twitter employees are aghast at the prospect of Mr. Musk leading the company.

Certainly, Twitter could benefit from some improvements to its service. Its rules are enforced unevenly; it is filled with racist trolling, harassment and misinformation. Politicians and celebrities also seem to enjoy a lighter touch from Twitter’s enforcement of its policies against misinformation, despite the evidence that they are more likely to be believed than regular users. Twitter’s usual approach to moderating content has been to slap warning labels on tweets, which are easy to ignore and don’t mitigate the damage done by misinformation.

Before and after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, Donald Trump used Twitter to whip his followers into a frenzy. The company rightfully barred Mr. Trump from Twitter for his role in that shameful episode, but it had turned a blind eye to similar behavior for years.

Into that toxic stew comes Mr. Musk. He has called someone he disagrees with “pedo guy,” made jokes about women’s anatomy and was forced to delete a union-busting message aimed at his factory workers — all on the platform he’ll soon own.

Loosening content moderation, as Mr. Musk appears poised to do, won’t make Twitter a better place; that will make it far more toxic. Under the notion that more speech is the best antidote to harmful speech, earnest users can probably expect to be shouted down even more frequently by trolls and bots. (I am hopeful Mr. Musk was serious when he said he’ll “defeat the spam bots or die trying!”)
Female Twitter users, in particular, ought to worry about whether Mr. Musk will bring his apparent disdain for women to the company he is about to own. Twitter is already a toxic place for women who use it, particularly those of color.

And the whole world should be concerned that Mr. Musk might reinstate Mr. Trump, who has so adroitly used social media platforms to spread dangerous Covid misinformation, mock his enemies and cast doubt on the integrity of free and fair elections. Mr. Trump said Monday he would not return to Twitter if allowed back on, in favor of his Truth Social network, but, of course, the former president has reneged on many promises.
Mr. Musk is correct that Twitter has become a de facto public square. But consider the fate of another public square led by a billionaire with no real check on his power: Facebook. Leaks over the past year have shown that Meta, under Mark Zuckerberg’s leadership, has overlooked evidence that hurtful comments on the company’s platforms caused emotional harm to teenagers and increased users’ anxiety and anger. The company knows its algorithms are deeply flawed, but because Mr. Zuckerberg holds a controlling share of votes on the board, external and internal pressure on the company to change how they are designed and deployed has proved futile.

Perhaps Jack Dorsey, one of Twitter’s co-founders and a board member, should have trusted his instincts when he tweeted that he doesn’t “believe any individual or institutions should own social media, or more generally media companies.”
Mr. Musk has said that he doesn’t care about the economics of his deal for Twitter. He may need that attitude if, as some expect, the platform becomes a free-for-all and advertisers abandon it.

Where can people go if they don’t like what Twitter turns into under Mr. Musk? New social media networks promising a free-speech alternative to Twitter have so far failed to gain traction, notably Truth Social among them.

As with the motives for establishing those competitors, Mr. Musk’s reasons for taking control of Twitter aren’t about free speech; it’s about controlling a megaphone. With his legion of fans, Mr. Musk will command a gigantic megaphone and be free to plug his own investments, pooh-pooh sound health regulations and shout down critics.

Speaking freely: Does that sound like a better place?

when the Swedes are giving up on liberalism, you know the world has shifted.

https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/sw ... 022-04-28/
Sweden has failed to integrate the vast numbers of immigrants it has taken in over the past two decades, leading to parallel societies and gang violence, Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson said on Thursday, as she launched a series of initiatives to combat organised crime.

Many Swedes were shocked earlier this month after violent riots left more than 100 police injured. The violence erupted after a Swedish-Danish politician burned the Quran at a rally and sought to hold more in several immigrant-dominated neighborhoods.

---

The number of people in Sweden born abroad has doubled in the last two decades to 2 million, or a fifth of the population. Andersson's Social Democrats have been in power for 28 of the last 40 years, including the last eight.

Andersson said she wanted to introduce local youth crime boards where social services and police could collaborate. She also proposed tools to make sure that youths stayed in schools and off the streets without the consent of parents.

"Integration has been too poor at the same time as we have had a large immigration. Society has been too weak, resources for the police and social services have been too weak," she said.

---

Sweden, which holds a general election later this year, has radically tightened its immigration policies since taking in more people per capita than any other European Union country during the migration crisis in 2015. It now has one of the bloc's most restrictive policies.

Human rights organisation Amnesty International has been critical of Sweden's tightening of policies, claiming it is causing human suffering and making integration even harder for immigrants.

The Issue with immigrant in Europe is that Immigrants come with their own culture from back home. The host country expects the newcomers abandon their own cultures and adapt the host country's culture. The population of the host country play key role as the population must "accept" and culturally integrate the newcomers.

As most population in Europe are "Racist", the population does not "take in" , culturally accept the newcomer. The Europeans just "tolerate" the immigrants and not "accept"

Yes, "Tolerate" in reality an insult .. and that is what is happening in Europe re immigrants .. they, coming from their culture, are tolerated but not accepted.

Notion "if they don't like it they should not come", not valid for Europe, as Europe NEEDS massive immigration .. in Italy whole villages are empty and houses sold for $ 1.

That leads to that the immigrant stay isolated from host country society

As student I traveled many times to Sweden .. visiting student clubs, and saw how "racist" Swedish boys and girls were.

In some European countries, UK , France (maybe Germany), the immigrants , Pakistani in UK , Arabs in France, they have their own very big community that the new immigrants (Pakistani or Arabs) join .. in UK , Pakistani community lives like in Pakistan and has ZERO to do with Brits, they culturally in Pakistan but physically in UK .. same with Arabs in France

Not sure about Australia

Europe is not a melting society, like US

How "Racist" Europe is you can see now in Eastern Europe, in Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, slovenia .. they even don't hide it and openly say so .. been there many times. Eastern Europe still living in "Pre WW2" times, they did not have the liberal democracy social changes West Europe had post WW2.

Western Europe not as bad. Also just more "politically correct".

when the Swedes are giving up on liberalism, you know the world has shifted.

It's more than fair.
If you are an immigrant to a foreign country, don't bring all the cultural baggage with you, the problems that motivated you to emigrate, to the new country.

Traditionally, since WW2 , immigrants came for "financial reason" , jobs, and better pay .. After WW2 , Germany , Swiss etc , brought in many Turks as "Gast Arbeiter" , idea being they "temporary" , they stayed and now millions.

Later, when America, West, beginning 1980's, started with exporting "democracy and regime change" , the immigrants were running away from being killed in Syria or Afghanistan or Libya.

There no case of anybody immigrating thinking their own culture no good and loving and admiring the culture of host country, NON

Those 1 m Syrians that Merkel took into Germany and now integrated into German Industrial workforce, they did not come to Germany due to admiring German culture, they ran away from bombing in Syria, and , they chose Germany over Spain or Portugal because of high german pay and benefit.

Meaning, no immigrants comes with the mindset to let go of his/her culture and adopt host country culture. That process should take place gradually with the time of his stay during integration into new host country.

Canada has understood this, and , promotes "Mosaic" .. that means, immigrants keep their culture and join their own "community" .. idea being that as times pass the "next generation" with adapt and integrate into Canadian culture .. success of this system shows in canada that take massive immigration every year doubling the population last 30 yrs.

Europe, unlike America, Canada, Australia did not come to exists by immigrants .. Europe never accepted any immigrant, it was unheard of anybody becoming Swiss or German citizen, extremely difficult to get permanent residency in Europe .. that changed 30 yrs ago as European birth rate collapse .. now it is much more easier to get a Swiss residency that to get a US one. And Germany takes in anybody waking in.

All due to collapsing working age population .. the extreme we see in Italy.

Average number of persons per household in selected European countries in 2020

https://www.statista.com/statistics/123 ... in-europe/

Anything under 4.5 means population retreating .. husband + wife + plus 2.5 child = 4.5

Pretty much all European average is below 3 .. means they have less than 1 child

What does it mean ?

It means in 2200 yrs, Syrians and Libyans will be the new Europeans

covid exposed the truth of the endless growth model, as does the fact Japan is doing just fine without it.

all immigration does is make the top 50% who skim the fat from society richer, the bottom 50% who compete with the immigrants lives get worse.

we all know that now, which is why the right wing is growing and the American liberal order based on globalism and endless growth is coming to an end.

the arabs who want to riot because someone upset their religion, like in sweden, have no place in secular societies, nobody wants more of those.

id expect lots more claims of racism in the future as most countries work out ways to get rid of them, they will certainly not be taking in more of them.
Le Pen and the NF claim that multiculturalism has failed,[28] and argue for the "de-Islamisation" of French society.[29] Le Pen has called for a moratorium on legal immigration.[30] She would repeal laws allowing illegal immigrants to become legal residents,[31] and argues for benefits provided to immigrants to be reduced to remove incentives for new immigrants.[32] Following the beginning of the Arab Spring and the European migrant crisis, she called for France to withdraw from the Schengen Area and reinstate border controls.[33][34]

Wall Street Journal
Biden Establishes a Ministry of Truth
The Disinformation Governance Board already looks like a partisan instrument

The Department of Homeland Security has announced the formation of the Disinformation Governance Board—charged, according to Politico, with “countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia.” In a twist too implausible for fiction, the abbreviation is DGB, one letter off from KGB.

The stated goal of combating mis- and disinformation is framed to seem unobjectionable. Who objects to truth and pines for falsehood ? DGB experts will guide the way, separating the informational wheat from the disinformational chaff. But there’s one small problem with empowering “truth experts”: Experts are people.
