I lost interest quickly as well. It’s like early Photoshop accelerated. The only way out of this is to burn through it.

So far, I've been able to differentiate between photos of real women and ML models.

The spurious digit problem seems to have been solved, but the proportions of the hands and feet still need work.

In the case of ML models, they often look too flawless and too symmetric as if they have been photoshopped to the nth degree.

I agree with Francis Bacon with regards to beauty,

They will undoubtedly get better. I have noticed that scam email has gotten much more sophisticated in the last few months. I can still tell but it takes more time.

Probably. Look at your logs. If there are any IPs that repeatedly pop up that would be the case of scraping. It can be interesting to do a reverse IP look up on them to maybe get an idea who is doing it.

Had an amusing thought.

If and when the majority of images of beautiful women posted to the internet are ML-generated [AI],

then the ML image generators will be trained mostly on ML-generated images.

yeh it would at first glance - less plastic, more distinctive features.

at second glance, its either the dead eyes of a jaded sex worker or something uncanny valley, either way, not in my areas of interest

makes me think it isnt ai generated but ai modified - basically a video of a real person but with face and tits tweeked by ai.

I would guess that creating emotions that would fool nearly everyone will be prove the most difficult part for generative ML.

Far more challenging than getting the number of fingers right.
