1)
1st cultural revolution was MAO's cultural war
Soong Mei-ling, sister-in-law of Sun Yat-sen, the founder and the leader of the Republic of China, Madame Chiang Kai-shek, lived and studied in US, Christian, came to US for American support against MAO, said "we christian" (wink)

MAO on the other side was traditional Chinese
What followed was the war between Western Christian culture and Traditional Chinese culture
MAO's "Cultural revolution", where having a "Piano" was a big crime, followed
China now in historical traditional China culture and civilization
2 )
2nd cultural revolution was Iran's revolution , Ayatollahs revolt against the Shah
Iranian revolution is not a religious revolution as much as MAO's was not a communist revolution.
Iranian revolution Was and IS a "cultural revolution"
In Iran too "western musical instrument" was swept aside .. Iranian Music and art and movie have nothing from Western culture .. Iranian music now use only traditional Iranian musical instrument .. western music now not popular in Iran and only played underground.
There a big fundamental "Renaissance" of Persian civilization & culture ..
3 )
3rd "cultural revolution" taking shape now

Western elites “canceled” the author J.K. Rowling because she “did not please fans of so-called gender freedoms,” Mr. Putin said
..
Japan, he claimed, “cynically decided to ‘cancel’” the fact that it was the United States that dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of World War II. And now, he said, the West is busy “canceling” Russia, “an entire thousand-year-old country, our people.”
..
“This is his cultural front,” said Andrei Kolesnikov, a senior fellow at the Carnegie Moscow Center. “He’s also at war there.”
..
“The names of Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich and Rachmaninoff are being removed from playbills. Russian writers and their books are being banned,” Mr. Putin said. “The last time such a mass campaign to destroy objectionable literature was carried out was by the Nazis in Germany almost 90 years ago.”
..
Russia, Mr. Putin’s argument goes, is culturally superior, because it respects history and traditional values. Now, he says, the West is betraying its cravenness and “Russophobia” by trying to “cancel” Russia itself, including its contributions to the arts and to history, particularly to the defeat of Nazi Germany.
We will see whether he has a valid case
