Re: Predictions on the US post November 8 2016

If Hillary wins, the Republicans in the House will either vote to impeach her, create a "funding gap", or both. If Trump wins, there will be a lot of prominent Republicans who will quickly forget that they were ever against him. If Hillary barely wins, and Democrats take control of the Se...

This could be a very big deal.

I worry about Harmonic Drive's involvement: are they really trying to commercialize the technology, or are they actually trying to keep it off the market?

Amazon is evil, but customer service is excellent, and I like my Kindle (whose ebooks are on a different format to the global standard, to keep you locked in.) Still, customer service from slave plantations was probably very good. Jeff Bezos is a megalomaniac who wants to take over the world, and s...

Is there a computer virus version of HIV? It would first attack and modify the antivirus software and then use it against other parts of the system.

It could be relatively hard to detect and even harder to treat.

538 has Hillary up by 3% in a poll including Johnson; but considering the margin of error, and that, most likely, more of Johnson's supporters will defect to Trump than to Clinton, it's essentially tied. It looks like we'll have a photo finish. New Hampshire and/or Nevada could be decisive.
