Hey man!!
That is really a good discovery, sounds like conversations you would hear in a poorly lit tavern that smelled like BO, gasoline, and cigarettes.

Hoos, you'd like this guy. Somewhere between Steve Earl, Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. Outlaws, poor folks, heartbreak, addiction, ghosts, and losers. You'll recognize a whole lot of him. He's got soul.
It brings me back to Mellencamp's Scarecrow album when he decided he didn't want to be a genuflecting pop star and was trying to find his common ground. It's so hard to find someone who starts with their common ground and doesn't get all caught up in image or popular trends. I like the music without the gimmicks, just tell me what you see and what you feel. Simple unwashed stories of guys who have failed but keep living anyway.

Not the "moshi moshi ano-ne" I was seeking, but I'll take it:

Moshi Moshi - Call from Japan

Be not too curious of Good and Evil;
Seek not to count the future waves of Time;
But be ye satisfied that you have light
Enough to take your step and find your foothold.
