Elizabeth Warren for VP?

Post by manolo »

Folks,

Elizabeth Warren has been getting under Trump’s skin in the Twitter wars and also looking good in speeches against the man’s presidential ambitions. I’m wondering if she might be a good choice as Clinton’s VP selection? Clearly, two strong women will be a good attack strategy, and the only time I have seen Trump really shaky on the back foot was when Megyn Kelly pinned him on the failed Trump university.

There is a danger of Warren overshadowing Clinton a little, but apart from that what’s not to like?

No. We still can't trust American Indians. Girl power isn't the issue. She'll be viewed as a candidate that never left Harvard or whatever Ivy she went to. Clinton needs more grit, someone like her (Pa, Oh). More scars and battles won. Warren's too academic.

If Hilary really wants to win, she will nominate Bernie.

Any other nominee reduces her chances of winning.

Maybe, but I see no reason why Bernie would take the job.

If she really wants to win, she should find another running mate for Bernie

Perhaps she will bow out saying that she refuses to sully her reputation by running against Trump.

She gets to be POTUS, he gets dominated by a younger, extremely rich blonde.

Someone like Ed Rendell except with foreign policy cred. Bill Richardson. I don't know. He's lost a lot of weight. I think he might be on the short list.

I think Hilary has been the masochist in that S & M relationship.

A sadist and a masochist are walking down the street..... The masochist says to the sadist: "Hurt me! Hurt me please!" The sadist says: "No!"

Not true. It seems the polls are making incorrect assumptions.

The left wing demographic argument has always been wrong, Trump's loss is based on the nevertrumpers, of whom there are enough to guarantee a loss.

Yup. I will never be on their side again.
