Will/Would the Republicans/"Conservative" Support Pres. Obama over Ron Paul?

Have been listening a lot to Hannity and his subs while Hannity is on vacation working on some deep dark project ;) ..........

Yesterday it was Mark Simone again: "Ron Paul is the most liberal candidate. Even more liberal than Pres. Obama". Paul would legalize drugs, abolish the Federal Reserve..........etc. But mostly it is about Iran, Nukes and of course Israel

Am getting the distinct impression that both the Republican and "Conservative" "establishments" might vote for President Obama
over Ron Paul  presuming Paul gets the nomination.................

Come on, Ron Paul! You can win!

Of course not, except for single-issue, hardcore neocons.

He will be pilloried from all sides. His newsletters will disillusion most left supporters and his anti-war stance makes the right shaky. He is, and will be, successfully labeled a lunatic. Paul's best path is to asseverate his beliefs well enough so as to finish a strong second, thereby leaving his legacy to completed by his son- which seems to be the plan all along, Paul has taken the hits and laid the groundwork for his son. If he were to win the nomination, a lot of that hard work and labor will be for naught, for if he loses and is dismissed as crazy, his son will have no future shot.

Thank you Very Much for your post, NapLajoieonSteroid.

You may well be right. I've noticed that Hannity has a much better relationship with Rand Paul and that Rand calls in on his show regularly.

CD on Spengler Board contends that Ron is in more for the chase than to win. This could tie right in to that.....

Newt Nixes Paul. Paul Nixes All but says Mitt > Newt

Post by monster_gardener »

Newt says he can't vote for Paul. Paul says might not support any of the others BUT Mitt likely a better President than Newt.............

Ron Paul Might Not Support Rivals For 2012 Republican Presidential Nomination

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa -- Ron Paul says he might not support his rivals for the Republican presidential nomination.

In an interview Friday with Bloomberg News, the Texas congressman said the other GOP contenders represent the "status quo" and do not differ much from Democrats.

Paul says he would have trouble backing any of them and wants to wait and see if they adopt any of his priorities, such as auditing the Federal Reserve.

Paul and Mitt Romney are leading most polls ahead of Iowa's kickoff caucuses. Paul has attracted support from a coalition of tea party supporters, students and independents.

Paul says Romney's business background makes him more suited for the presidency than Newt Gingrich. The former House speaker has said he couldn't vote for Paul if he became the Republican nominee.

I owe an apology to Hannity for being snarky about his secret project: was in the poor section of the Dominican Republic distributing aid with Franklin Graham of Samaritan's purse.

Apparently true.
Credit where credit is due..........
Fox News hosts Greta Van Susteren and Sean Hannity recently spent part of their Christmas vacations distributing Operation Christmas Child shoe box gifts to children in the Dominican Republic and Haiti along with Samaritan's Purse President Franklin Graham. Greta and her husband, John, have supported Operation Christmas Child for many years. They handed out shoe box gifts in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Her program, On The Record, in the top-rated program on cable news in its time slot, consistently attracts more than twice as many viewers as any other show. Sean was joined by his wife, Jill, and their two children in the Dominican Republic. His program, Hannity, is also the top-rated show in its time slot.

I think this would have been possible in previous generations, but not any more. Republican voters would stay home before voting for Obama.
