CS here.
Sorry about the log-in inconvenience.
What forum time I have has recently been spent trying to solve an upgrade problem.
Unfortunately the phpBB support forum has proven to be less than useless.
However, I think I've located the source of the problem.
Is anyone [noddy?] familiar with SQL, especially .sql files.
It seems that I need to edit out an old entry in a set of such such files.
I can do SQL when I have to, its been a while since I did it for money, but I doubt its that difficult, it rarely is.
I only have a simple question as I can write a Python program to do what I need.
Searching through the SQL files in the directory /store
of the type backup_[ID consisting of letters + numbers].sql
I found the following long line
INSERT INTO phpbb_modules (module_id, module_enabled, module_display, module_basename, module_class, parent_id, left_id, right_id, module_langname, module_mode, module_auth)
VALUES (1, 1, 1, '', 'acp', 0, 1, 68, 'ACP_CAT_GENERAL', '', ''),...,
(220, 1, 1, 'acp_shareon', 'acp', 219, 287, 288, 'SO_CONFIG', 'settings', 'acl_a_board'),...
As 'acp_shareon' no longer exists, I guess [as I'm unfamiliar with SQL] that this generates the error message:
(220, 1, 1, 'acp_shareon', 'acp', 219, 287, 288, 'SO_CONFIG', 'settings', 'acl_a_board')
Two options:
1/ Change the module_enabled, module_display indices to 0, 0.
2/ Edit out via a program, as there are lots of .sql files, this part of the line
(220, 1, 1, 'acp_shareon', 'acp', 219, 287, 288, 'SO_CONFIG', 'settings', 'acl_a_board')
But do I have to also update some of the other indices in adjacent (...) so as not break some links?
